Just a note to explain my recent absence. Too many things going on in the months of October and November from a personal standpoint. Wife had some serious medical issues I won’t get into, trying to build a house in NC that is encountering numerous issues (including losing solar credits due to stupid Republican policies this year), moving temporarily to Winston Salem to support the house building and trying to get some projects closed out at my daughters house haven’t left any real time for commentary.
Not that there hasn’t been plenty to comment on as the Trump reign of Terror continues. Moving onto a new blog entry right after this note on whether America can come out of its stupor (only positive sign being the recent November elections in VA and NJ). Personally, I have my doubts and given the Supreme Court’s insistence on backing partisan and authoritarian behavior, it’s questionable as to whether the people even have any power anymore, as the Court has steadily diminished Congress’s ability to check anyone, let alone the President.
